Students attending a new two-day course at Brighton University will receive expert advice on how to Open a Successful Restaurant Business.
The course is run by Peter Odgers, principal lecturer at Sussex University’s Culinary Art Studio. He has a broad experience of the hospitality industry as a former chef to operational management in large and small companies before becoming financial controller for Holiday Inns and Forte Hotels.
This course on November 16 and 17th has been designed to allow students to understand the important procedures coming with operating a successful restaurant. On completion they will be allowed to start planning their new venture, ensuring these vital issues are not overlooked.”

This is a good idea!
However it is very difficult running a restaurant – long hours, stressful and you need to try to find a niche that will tempt your customers against them going elsewhere.
